This beer was one of the highlights of the top hops share for me. My tasting group opened this beer without me this past summer, and I heard great reviews all around. The beer pours a ruby red color out of the glass, with a little white lacing on the top. The smell is of fresh berries, just very jammy, with a little lacto giving off a little bit of tart, but nothing tear-jerking. The taste is upfront jam. I don’t get any of the cherry on this beer, it’s purely raspberry on the taste. I get a little bit of zest, perhaps that is the cherry portion, but overall just a very balanced fresh sour (95/100).
